DarkSky Star Party

Forget the Hollywood meet-and-greet: meet the stars at The Watershed Reserve at our fabulous Star Party! Learn about light pollution and enjoy stargazing in one of NJ's 'darker' areas. Educators will provide a tour of the night sky while you soak in the special beauty of the Reserve at night. Participants will have the opportunity to try telescopes and apps that can enhance your experience. No experience required, just a warm coat and your sense of wonder. This program is presented in collaboration with DarkSky Hopewell, a local organization working to reduce light pollution.
Adults and Families with children welcome. Pre-registration is required. In case of poor viewing weather, registrants will be contacted and a rain date may be offered.
