Please join us for a one-day, in person conference to showcase the vital role of community science in understanding and protecting NJ waters.
The NJ Community Water Monitoring Summit will bring together nonprofit monitoring program coordinators, academic researchers, agency professionals, volunteers, and other stakeholders to highlight the impact of community data by:
- Presenting community-collected data and findings,
- Sharing unique approaches and lessons learned about monitoring, volunteer training, data management, and community engagement, and
- Demonstrating how community data has informed decision-makers or led to actions to protect and improve water quality.
The agenda will feature four presentation sessions and one poster session on long-term monitoring assessments, launching new programs, water quality mitigation strategies, and monitoring data tools. Click here to view the agenda.
There is still time to share your work at the Summit! Poster abstracts will be accepted through the end of October. Click here to submit your poster abstract.
