The Secret Life of Vernal Pools

Have you ever wondered what animals live in a vernal pool?  Join Jeff Hoagland, Education Director and student intern Mofan Qu, as they showcasethe beauty of vernal pools, and the the myriad of organisms that live within them! Discover tadpoles, water fleas, copepods, ostracods, and more. We will enjoy a nice, easy walk on the boardwalk to a vernal pool, catching some critters before viewing them up close with microscopes in our lab! Get ready for a morning of fun and discovery!
