The Virtue of Weeds at Fairgrown Farm

Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote that a weed is "a plant whose virtues have not yet been discovered." Join Jeff Hoagland of the Watershed Institute and James Klett of Fairgrown Farms to discover the virtues and challenges of a variety of weeds on the farm, learning about their powers of adaptation and in some cases, finding their flavor. The colorful Golden Guide to Weeds will be available for purchase, offering identification, history and lore of these common plants.

This event will meet at the farm: 260 Wargo Rd. Pennington, NJ 08534

Adults and families with children 8 & up. Registration preferred but walk-ins welcome.
