Clean Water (for teachers)
In this five-day program, teachers will:
- Explore the causes and impacts of stormwater runoff.
- Observe how actual green infrastructure is being used to decrease stormwater runoff and its associated pollution.
- Learn how to engage students in the engineering design process.
- Develop stormwater 'mitigation' plans through collaboration with other teachers.
This session includes field trips to several different sites to take part in stormwater site assessments.
