Beginner Birding Walk

Join Jeff Hoagland, Education Director at The Watershed Institute and Washington Crossing Audubon Society board member, for a beginner birding walk on the Watershed Reserve in Pennington, NJ. Almost 1,000-acres in size, with a variety of habitats, the Watershed Reserve hosts over 200 bird species. Learn to identify year-round and winter resident birds, exploring their natural history and classify bird calls by ear.

If you have little to no experience and always wanted to begin birding, or if you are a backyard bird watcher who would like to take the next step, this program is for you! Sanitized binoculars are available for use during the program.

Adults. Free. In-person program. Dress for the weather of the day. Masks and social distancing required.
