Water and watershed issues do not confine themselves to political boundaries. Municipal leaders, engineers, watershed advocates, and community members must work together across boundaries to repair our degraded waterways. At the Seventh Annual Watershed Conference, we invite stakeholders like state, municipal, and county, officials and staff, nonprofit organizations, environmental professionals, and the public to discuss regional planning strategies. These discussions and collaborations are vital to the future of our watersheds because we will only be able to address the impacts of climate change and restore habitats by working together.
The conference will include opportunities for networking to foster understanding and collaboration between stakeholders across regions. Topics will include a wide net of important policy, science, and education approaches to regional issues as well as case studies from around the country.
More information about the Watershed Conference will be posted on our website as we get closer to the date. Check it out here: https://thewatershed.org/7th-annual-watershed-conference/
