Please join us to hear guest speaker, Dr. Aruni Bhatnagar PhD, speak about the important role that the environment plays in our health. He will provide an overview of The Green Heart Project which is a first-of-its-kind scientific experiment that will test if increasing green space in a neighborhood will improve air quality and human health in Louisville, KY. Learn why having access to green spaces is vitally important to our health.
Dr. Bhatnagar is a pioneer in the field of environmental cardiology and director of the Christina Lee Brown Envirome Institute at the University of Louisville. His studies show how pollution affects the heart and blood vessels, as well as how exposure to polluted air increases the risk of obesity and diabetes.
