NATURALIST EXPLORATIONS: ECOLOGY OF THE NIGHT
Tuesday, October 13 6PM- 7PM EST and Tuesday, October 20 6PM-7PM EST
Develop your skills and knowledge as a naturalist through our online Naturalist Explorations programs with Education Director Jeff Hoagland and Watershed Education Intern, Anna Stunkel! In this two-part virtual program, we will explore topics and techniques for that week's theme, including a remote outdoor component. Participants will then be charged with trying out these new techniques, meeting one week later for a second session, presenting discoveries and gaining further insight. A supplemental resource list, including readings, will be provided.
Ecology of the Night, October 13 and October 20: Explore the fascinating world of nature at night. We will meet, virtually, some of the animals active at night and learn how to find them. Discover how to use your senses to explore the nighttime world before joining a remote night hike. We will meet the following week to present our nighttime discoveries in our own neighborhoods!
Virtual via Zoom. Teens and adults. All sessions take place 6PM-7PM EST.
