Field Sketching at Home
Join Watershed Education Intern and freelance artist, Anna Stunkel, in this four-part introduction to field sketching. We will go over some basics and explore sketching various subjects including birds, reptiles and amphibians, trees, and wildflowers. Field sketching is a wonderful activity to hone your skills as a naturalist while we are staying at home. Sharing your sketches and observations with others is a great way to connect and learn from each other.
June 18, Reptiles and Amphibians:
Visit with some of the Watershed’s critters and follow along as we sketch them live! We will learn about some differences between reptiles and amphibians and discuss tips on searching for them outdoors.
Please bring paper and a pencil; colored pencils are recommended but not required.
Lessons will take place live via Zoom. Free program. Ages 15 to adult.
